To 7ο SFF-rated ATHENS διεξάγεται τον Μάρτιο του 2012 (7-14) και δέχεται ήδη υποψηφιότητες για ταινίες μικρού και μεγάλου μήκους. Ταινίες απο την Ελλάδα και την Κύπρο, υποβάλλονται μέσω της πλατφόρμας Withoutabox ΔΩΡΕΑΝ (σε ειδικές κατηγορίες ακριβώς γι αυτόν τον σκοπό).

24-2-2012: Φέτος επεκτεινόμαστε σε δύο αίθουσες προβολών. Τον ΜΙΚΡΟΚΟΣΜΟ φυσικά αλλά και την αίθουσα προβολών του NIXON. Το Διαγωνιστικό Μεγάλου Μήκους περιλαμβάνει 10 ταινίες (αντί για 8). Οι ταινίες Μικρού Μήκους συμμετέχουν όλες στο Διαγωνιστικό και προβάλλονται όλες 2 φορές. Εκτός από Βραβεία Κοινού εγκαινιάζομε και Βραβεία Κριτικής Επιτροπής. Παρουσιάζουμε τη νεά συλλογή διπλό-DVD με τα καλύτερα Μικρά του 2010 και του 2011. Προβάλλουμε σε avant premiere τον JOHN CARTER. Φιλοξενούμε το θρυλικό METROPOLIS με live dj set. Κατά τα λοιπά, μια απ’ τα ίδια, δηλαδή Δώρα Κοινού, Αψέντι, Καλεσμένοι από το Λος Αντζελες και το Λονδίνο, Ομιλίες, απίθανες αφίσες… Ελάτε μαζί μας.

Foreign correspondence: SFF-rated ATHENS 2012 Calls for Entries! For the March 2012 event we have added a new film category, Fan Films (shorts only), to check how your favorite SFF worlds inspire you. Also, we bluntly err on the side of filmmakers whose previous submission was selected to screen with us: if yours was, then you are entitled to a full waiver fee for the film that you are about to submit. Contact us to obtain the fee waiver code.

24-2-2012: This year we expand and take over two theaters. MIKROKOSMOS FILMCENTER of course, but also NIXON Screening Room. There will be 10 Features in Competition instead of 8. Shorts will all be in Competition, and each will screen twice. Apart from our Audience Awards, we introduce Jury Awards too. We present our brand new double dvd-collection of the best Shorts that have screened with us in the 2010 and 2011 editions. We avant-premiere JOHN CARTER. We host the legendary METROPOLIS enriched with a live dj set. Apart from all that, it’s business as usual, meaning, Audience Gifts, Absinthe, Guests from LA-USA and London,  workshops, great posters… JOIN US.
